  Two groups of young men had an escalating dispute. Baltimore Brothers staff convened a mediation with both sides and family members, established terms both groups agreed to, and kept weekly contact for two months. No further incidents were reported and neither young man entered formal processing.

  Devon joined Baltimore Brothers life-skills programming while in a Department of Juvenile Services detention setting. Staff stayed with him through release, built a reentry plan with his family, and connected him to Career Launch. He entered a paid trade apprenticeship and remained connected to work.

  From chronic absence to on-track

  Referred by a school counselor, Andre was missing more than half of his school days. A Baltimore Brothers mentor set a weekly check-in, coordinated with his teachers on missed work, and worked with his grandmother on morning routines. By the end of the school year his attendance had returned to regular status and he completed a community support plan.
